The Jody Stripe is dedicated to raising awareness for APHASIA. This is a cause near to our founder and her family as her father survived a massive stroke in 1997, resulting in a diagnosis of aphasia. Aphasia is an acquired communication disorder that impairs a person's ability to process language, but does not affect intelligence. Aphasia impairs the ability to speak and understand others and is often caused by stroke, TBI or brain tumor.
